Our Story
A Taste That Feels Like Home.
SAAJUK started where most Indian food businesses start — in a kitchen, with recipes nobody had written down.
Every family has a keeper of recipes. The one person whose besan ladu came out right every single time, who knew by the smell alone when the flour had roasted enough, and who never measured anything. Most of those recipes were never recorded. They were watched, repeated, and eventually inherited.
What we make
We make five things and we make them properly: besan ladu, methi ladu, moong ladu, a flourless dry fruits ladu, and dates and nuts bites. That is the whole list, and it is deliberately short.
How we make it
Small batches, low flame, no shortcuts. These are not stylistic choices — besan browns unevenly if you hurry it, moong dal turns flat if you take it one shade too far, and methi needs time for the ghee to do its work. Making more at once would mean making it worse.
How it reaches you
Orders are prepared and packed in our Mumbai kitchen and dispatched across India. Everything goes out in a box built to protect it, because a ladu that arrives broken is not the gift you paid for.
What we will not do
We will not print health claims we cannot stand behind, and we will not write our own reviews. What is on our reviews page comes from customers, or it stays empty.
If you would like to talk to us about bulk orders or festival gifting, get in touch.
